If you are reading this - I was in your shoes. After reading so many negative reviews I almost did not go to Barcelona... in the end I went there, and used this parking, and... everything was great. First of all - there is a general problem with theft in Barcelona, it is well known, and they ask you all the time to remain vigilant. The speakers in the parking will keep repeating that you shouldn't leave anything valuable neither any bags in the car. From the hotel we were also asked the same. We followed those instructions, and the car was there for 3 nights, no damage or anything. The parking has A LOT of security features, including the blocking of many doors unless you have a parking ticket. Unfortunately, I have seen that people will allow other people to enter without going through this procedure (tail gating), and there is little the parking can do to control that. We had a small issue with the ticket when we were trying to leave the parking, and a person came to help us ; sorry I missed the name! It was a very friendly young lady and in a matter of seconds the problem was solved. Regarding some other comments: (1) price is indeed very high, but that is the same for all parking places in this region. If you are staying in a hotel check if they have some partnership. (2) internal directions in the parking are indeed a bit confusing, it is somewhat narrow. Still doable - keep in mind it is a very central and crowded location!
